April is Autism Awareness Month. A time to recognize and honor Autistic individuals and their families while promoting understanding, inclusion, and meaningful acceptance. The Glendale Police Department is proud to support efforts that strengthen awareness and informed response within our community.

Through Autism Awareness merchandise sales, our goal is to outfit patrol units with sensory bags and expanding awareness tools that support individuals and families during real-time interactions. Additionally, we are looking to expand training, increase understanding, and strengthen our ability to respond with care during ASD-related calls for service.
